wtf

inserted images in threads - auto resize?

Recommended Posts

I like the feature on some forums where it resizes the image on the fly to ensure people with smaller screens dont have 3000px wide images.. is that a feature of this software?

Mario?

This is a built in function if IP.B since 3.2 which you are running so it's in there somewhere, it will automatically shrink the images down to a size that will fit in your browser window on load only and then you can click to make them full size, it doesn't save bandwidth as it still downloads the full image and just wraps it in max image size tags, hence why the reduced images sometimes look pixelly and distorted. Not 100% sure where in the ACP it is but it was switched on by default on our install of it.

Edit: It already appears to do this but it just doesn't let you know the option is there like it does on ours, check out my post on this thread of the giant picture of the LFA, if you click on it it will expand it out :)
