StreetFX "ALL IN ONE" Digital HID H11 Upgrade for 86 GT (Plug and Play)

After a lot of testing, we are now happy to release an All - In - One (AIO) solution for GT owners who didn't like the messy wiring looms and separate bulb/ballast/igniter boxes.

Here we have a Ballast which fits directly to the bulb, much like factory BMW and so forth.

These twist lock directly to your standard H11 locator, and are full plug and play. Cops will have no idea they are not stock.

We only stock them in 6000k for idea road visibility. Any higher colour temp can lose you night driving ability.

Anyway, onto the "how to".

Time required: Around 5-6 Minutes.

CLICK THE PICS FOR FULL SIZE! You must be logged in to view these images..

Included in the StreetFX package is the Bulbs, in this image you can see they have already been pressed onto the ballasts (it's pretty self explanatory).

We also include a free set of parking lights. If you are interested in these kits, the link to buy is here:

1) Unbox them, insert the bulbs into the ballasts (they can only fit in one way). Remove the protective foam from the bulbs.

2) Pop your bonnet, start with the Left Hand side (passenger side for Australian cars).

3) Grab the stock bulb backing and twist unlock it. Unplug the wiring loom out of the back of it as well (it has a small press clip on the back)

4) Get your new AIO bulb and ballast, holding the ballast section, line up the new bulb with the hole, carefully insert it and ensure you dont touch the glass against anything.

5) Twist lock the AIO Bulb and ballast into position. It should do around a 1/3 turn and stop.

6) Plug the wiring loom into the connector.

7) Test your handiwork by turning the headlights on.

8) Now do the Right Hand Side (RHS). To give yourself a bit of extra room, remove the fuse box lid.

9) With the lid removed, remove the old bulb and follow the exact instructions from the LHS..

10) Now you're done!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need proper lenses and washers to have HIDs legally?

Oi, shut up

Yeah, you need lenses that automatically adjust to plane changes via another system. and you do need washers. But Hitler also said that blonde hair and blue eyes was the only true german. (yes I just compared Australian road rules to hitler, call the cops I don't give a fuck)
