  1. Hey Guys, I just picked up my 2012 GT86 a couple weeks ago with 31900km. It was previously the show car for Bullet Superchargers, sporting their Spritex supercharger kit+intercooler, 6/4 pot JBT brakes, fully adjustable Tein suspension, Rota 235/40 18" wheels and carbon GT wing. It was tuned by Ecutek. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the $37k price tag with the supercharger, but for $24k managed to keep the Tein suspension, Rota wheels and GT wing. Only lost the fancy brakes and the glorious suspercharger but made a point not to drive it while it was boosted so I don't feel like I am missing out, the car still represents great value I think with only 1000km on the original brakes/radiator and is mint inside and out-plus I kept plenty of good bits and got a free BRZ tune from Cayote Tuning! I absolutely love it, the driving pleasure is through the roof and it feels so much newer and more refined (and reliable) than my previous non-turbo Toyota Supra, which was amazing fun but was continuallly emptying my wallet with repair costs (pic attached). Still trying to sell her. Anyways sorry for the long intro and life story, I live in Robina on the Gold Coast (originally moved up from South Africa 9 years ago) and keen to meet some new faces, learn a lot and get into it!
  2. **** TO PURCHASE THESE AND OTHER 86 RELATED ITEMS CLICK HERE **** http://streetfx.com.au/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=193 StreetFX "ALL IN ONE" Digital HID H11 Upgrade for 86 GT (Plug and Play) After a lot of testing, we are now happy to release an All - In - One (AIO) solution for GT owners who didn't like the messy wiring looms and separate bulb/ballast/igniter boxes. Here we have a Ballast which fits directly to the bulb, much like factory BMW and so forth. These twist lock directly to your standard H11 locator, and are full plug and play. Cops will have no idea they are not stock. We only stock them in 6000k for idea road visibility. Any higher colour temp can lose you night driving ability. Anyway, onto the "how to". Time required: Around 5-6 Minutes. CLICK THE PICS FOR FULL SIZE! You must be logged in to view these images.. Included in the StreetFX package is the Bulbs, in this image you can see they have already been pressed onto the ballasts (it's pretty self explanatory). We also include a free set of parking lights. If you are interested in these kits, the link to buy is here: 1) Unbox them, insert the bulbs into the ballasts (they can only fit in one way). Remove the protective foam from the bulbs. 2) Pop your bonnet, start with the Left Hand side (passenger side for Australian cars). 3) Grab the stock bulb backing and twist unlock it. Unplug the wiring loom out of the back of it as well (it has a small press clip on the back) 4) Get your new AIO bulb and ballast, holding the ballast section, line up the new bulb with the hole, carefully insert it and ensure you dont touch the glass against anything. 5) Twist lock the AIO Bulb and ballast into position. It should do around a 1/3 turn and stop. 6) Plug the wiring loom into the connector. 7) Test your handiwork by turning the headlights on. 8) Now do the Right Hand Side (RHS). To give yourself a bit of extra room, remove the fuse box lid. 9) With the lid removed, remove the old bulb and follow the exact instructions from the LHS.. 10) Now you're done!! **** TO PURCHASE THESE AND OTHER 86 RELATED ITEMS CLICK HERE **** http://streetfx.com.au/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=193
  3. Does the auto GT also have LSD or is it just in the GTS?
  4. Hi Guys, I am regretfully selling my Tornado Grey GT 86 as I have not had enough time to drive and enjoy it due to work and other commitments. The car has only 5800kms on it at the moment (as of 14/10/14) and has been always been treated well. As I'm sure most people on here know, these cars are fantastic to drive! My car has 18" Enkei RPF1 wheels which alone cost around $2500 for rims, tyres, fitting and balancing. Also had fitted Eibach Sportsline springs which has lowered the car around 25-30mm. Only other mod which has been fitted is the shark fin aerial. Car can be found on carsales here - http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Toyota-86-2013/SSE-AD-3023254 Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks, Patrick
  5. I'll start, please feel free to contribute adding photos that aren't currently on here. Whether they be concept cars, rough drafts, design drafts, photoshops.. It doesn't matter Enjoy

  10. Hey everyone. I have for sale a full set of stock 16" wheels and tyres from my GT. They have done less than 1,000 restrained km and are in good nick. Currently stored at Spinning Wheel Tyres in Alexandria where my new wheels were fitted. You can check out my Gumtree ad here: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/alexandria/wheels-tyres-rims/16-inch-stock-alloy-wheels-tyres-from-toyota-86-suit-impreza-/102709665 Asking $600 or make an offer. I'm also happy to sell individually as spares if several people are interested and have one guy keen already. I believe these will also fit late model Imprezas and are a good upgrade from steels. 12. Been on the forum for a while, but haven't really posted much, let alone my introduction so I thought I had better get it done. I'm from south east Victoria, work as a mechanic full time, and just 3 weeks ago took ownership of a sonic blue gt86. I bought it second hand, but in very good condition and low kms; although in the past week I've found that the previous owner seems to spun out in it and hit the gutter, giving the wheel some nice wobble and damaging the wheel bearing. I planned on getting new wheels anyway, so the wheel isn't a problem, and the wheel bearing is easy fix. so all in all it ain't that bad. As for my personalisation (pictures to come), I've painted a lot of the interior panels the same colour as the car, and gotten the BRZ fender inserts because I like those better. and the wheels I have on order (waiting on tyre prices) are ROH Jagger in 18". I'm still on my green P plates until the end of the year, so when I'm off them I'm planning to go with the Bullet positive displacement supercharger. But that's still a bit off All in all I'm extremely happy with my 86 so far. the only thing I can complain about is the trans clunks, but I'm gonna get an aftermarket mount once I track one down (any recommendations on that would be good too). Looking forward to the years ahead in this excellent car and the members of this website. -Jesse PS: more Victoria cruses please Door trim Radio surround Cluster surround Gear stick surround Steering wheel <insert name of bit> Another of the cluster surround Fender insert Wheels I'm getting
