Just fitting one to the front only.  Can't fit one to the back as the Rocket Bunny rear diffuser covers over the two rear tow mounting points.

Went for a bubble tea run with another 20 odd 86/BRZ's last night.  Had somebody record the exhaust from close up this time.
Car is being revved from 3.8k - 4.8krpm where the whole system is at its loudest.

Oh.. and I just calculated my total expenditure for my car.. came up to just a smidge over 25k.  And I haven't even touched the stereo or gone all-out on the engine yet
3.6k of that was just shipping/gst/duty charges :((((

I don't give a fuck what you do mate, I was just pointing out the reasons there are laws about having cat converters, and the possible risk if you get caught. And I am not the only one who mentioned it ;)

You don't have a build thread do you? Would be good to see everything you've done. Not many people have spent that much yet.

My 86 had its first major service today and I am pleased with the result - after the LVMA on Saturday it was filthy and it came back washed with a tin of peppermints in the car.

I mentioned to the service manager that I had a thump emanating from the rear of the car as though there was a loose suitcase in the boot - the problem was fixed by tightening the rear suspension - apparently the build model was not one to suffer the dreaded parcel shelf issue (10/12) - the car seems to have more power and more in tune with the way I wish to drive it.

I mentioned that SARIS (issues with the 86 circulated amongst service managers) was known amongst the 86 fraternity and the manager was surprised I even knew what it was as they were not allowed to either notify or discuss those issues with the unwashed 86's fraternity - I would hope that even though an 86er might not be aware of this that issues would be fixed rather than waiting for an owner to point them out.

If an owner on the sunny coast wanted somewhere to go where they were assured good service I would recommend Madill Toyota Noosa - just share the lollies with me.

Installed my TREE HUGGING CATTED MOTIV Overpipe at 2:00am this morning, finished up 4:00am.
(Had to wait 30mins for the exhaust to call down, then jack up the car on stands, install, etc)

Lol, fair enough mate! I suppose when you're modifying a car that has only just been released, things are a bit more expensive, and it doesn't take long to add up ay!

Catalytic converters have nothing to do with tree hugging.  In fact they probably contribute more harm to the environment than they alleviate.  What they absolutely do is significantly reduce emissions that are very harmful to humans.

That's why the fine for not having one is so big.  The government doesn't give a rats about the environment, but it's a public health issue and they don't want public hospitals full of even more cancer patients because idiots decided it was cool to rebel against imaginary tree huggers.

$100 here, $2000 there .. It adds up very quickly! And I thought that each piece I got was quite a good price... but hey ...
